Congratulations to R.W.Bro. Bill Grattan of
Acacia No.11 who was Installed as District Deputy Grand Master of Lakeland District for the 2020-2021 Masonic year! The Installation took place in Andrew Alberta at his home and to allow for proper social distancing, only a few Brothers were present, but a great time was had by all.

After more than 15 year of service to the Craft and proven dedication and Brotherhood, the Brethren of Ye Olde Craft Lodge had the honour of having W.Bro. Robert Gavigan Installed in the Chair of King Solomon for the 2020/2021 Masonic year by Installing Master, W.Bro. Dave Simpson. We are looking froward to a great year of Freemasonry under his guidance. Congratulations to W.Bro. Gavigan and all his officers in their new positions!!

On behalf of Ye Olde Craft Lodge, we wish you an amazing Masonic journey with all the fraternity, personal growth and satisfaction you desire! This was a great morning with the Grand Master, M.W.Bro. Ken Cheel being received on his first Fraternal visit to our Lodge, accompanied by the Junior Grand Warden, R.W.Bro. Chris Uchman and the Lakeland District Deputy Grand Master, R.W.Bro. Blair Mitchell.

It was a busy and fulfilling morning which began with R.W.Bro. Blair Mitchell, Lakeland District Deputy Grand Master, being received on his official visit to the Lodge, followed Bro. Max Adu-Safo being Passed to the Fellowcraft Degree after proving his proficiency in very fine fashion. Next it was moved that W.Bro. Ed McDonald, Charter Member of Ye Olde Craft Lodge, be presented with a very well deserved Honorary Life Membership and this was accepted unanimously. Bro. Armando Duque then signed onto the by-laws after being accepted into our Lodge through Affiliation at our last Regular Meeting and finally, Bro. Mustafa Aral was presented with his Master Mason certificate. Congratulations to all of you and all the best as you continue your Masonic journeys!

An amazing show of support this morning for Bro. Mustafa Aral on his Raising to the degree of a Master Mason. Among the 32 visitors and 21 members present were the Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Alberta, M.W.Bro. Kenn Culbertson, the Senior Grand Warden, R.W.Bro. Reg Karbonik, the District Deputy Grand Masters of Lakeland and Northern Lights Districts, R.W.Bro. Jeff Knight and R.W.Bro. Jared Vanoni, plus a number of other current and past Grand Lodge Officers.
Bro. Aral we congratulate you on taking this very meaningful step in your Masonic journey and we look forward to witnessing you grow as a man and a Mason.

A great meeting was held this morning for the Fellowcraft Degree that was conferred upon two very worthy Brethren, Bro. Mustafa Aral and Bro. Manny Bautista.
W.Bro. Dave Simpson was also presented with his 25 years of service pin and certificate. Congratulations to all of you.
With 26 visitors and 20 members in attendance, the Fraternal interaction and Brotherly affection was very evident.

Since being Chartered in 1986, Acacia Masonic hall has been a home for Ye Olde Craft Lodge and many good memories will stay with us for years to come. As we prepare to move our meeting location to Highlands Masonic Hall, we celebrate both the past and the future of our Lodge at this casual June meeting and BBQ Festive Board.
We reflect on the fact that a Lodge is made of the members and the true friendships that are developed inside and outside Lodge walls, regardless of where that building is located.
Thank you Acacia Masonic Hall for 32 years of support and we now look forward to moving ahead in our new home...
